About the event
Stop by to meet October Visiting Artist Evan Robinson and Don Wright Scholar Julie Clapperton! Evan Robinson (b.1999) is a Nisga’a and British artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. Rooted in
both Nisga’a cultural traditions and contemporary print practices, his work often considers
vessels, bodies, and memory as sites of fracture, containment, and release. During his residency
at St. Michael’s Printshop, Robinson will expand this exploration through woodcut and
mezzotint techniques, drawing from oceanic crossings and the entangled stories of migration and
colonialism.
