Deadline to apply: November 17th, 2023 SMP is looking for more awesome members to join our programming committee!
The Programming Committee meets three or four times per year to make programming decisions about the Visiting Artist Program, Local Visiting Artist Program, the Don Wright Memorial Scholarship, and to discuss other programming ideas. They plan and create the calls for submissions, review applications, and decide on which artists are programmed. The committee consists mainly of visual artists in the St. John’s community, but we are open to other community members who have an interest or involvement in the arts and SMP! Being on the committee gives you a free membership, and your volunteer hours count towards free studio time. SMP values diversity and inclusivity in our communities. We encourage applications from visible minority group members, Indigenous people, people with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA community as well as others with the skills and knowledge to productively engage with diverse communities. If you are interested in joining our Programming Committee, please fill out this form, or send us an email at email@example.com with the following info:
