About the event
In the timeless tradition of the “sewing circle”, we host a biweekly linocut print carving circle at St. Michael’s Printshop. (This can also include woodcut print carving, or any relief carving medium you work in). 🕯️
The idea is to offer an opportunity for the printmaking community to come together in carving companionship, to work on our own projects in a social setting. This is not intended to be a formal instructional class, but do come prepared to learn from your peers, as we share our experiences as well as carving tips and tricks. Relief printmakers of all levels of experience and ability are welcome.
This drop-in event is free. We meet every second Monday evening, from 7 – 9 p.m.at St. Michael’s Printshop. Fall dates include: October 20th, November 3rd & 17th, December 1st & 15th 🍂
St. Michael’s Printshop provides carving tools, but feel free to bring your own.…
