Date: Saturday, June 27th from 12pm-4pm
Learn two techniques to transform eastern style papers into paper thread and into paper textile. Participants will learn the many steps to prepare paper for spinning with a drop spindle, how to ply, and how to finish the spools. Participants will also learn the technique of kneaded paper, which can be used to make cloth-like paper that can be sewn. Create meaningful threads by recycling prints and tests prints on eastern papers.
