Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays - October 21st, 23rd, 28th & 30th In this workshop participants will learn the basics of aquatinting on copper plates. No previous experience necessary!
Want to create tonal variations in an intaglio process? Have no idea what that means? Take this workshop with local artist Laura Sbrizzi!
Participants will be provided with a foundation in basic line etching, aquatinting, safety practices for the printshop’s acid room, copper plate preparation, image-making, etching, printing, and clean up. Participants will come away with the knowledge to work safely and independently on aquatint etching at St Michael's in the future!
