About the event
Date: Saturday, April 18th, 12pm-4pm
Join visiting artist Christina Kang to create your own hand bound adhesive sketchbook using old prints, food cartons, and other recycled materials! Participants will learn how to sew and glue a text block, create DIY bookcloth with Heat ‘N Bond, and attach a text block to a hardcover book case.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own paper and recycled material, otherwise materials for a small 4” x 6” sketchbook are provided as well as bookbinding and sewing supplies.
