This 3-part course will allow participants to engage with and produce a small edition of multi-coloured prints. Participants will learn to design an image, carve linoleum, cut down their block into separate shapes, practice mixing colour, use brayers to ink, and to print using an etching press.

This three-part workshop will allow participants to engage with and produce a small edition of multi-coloured prints. Participants will learn to design an image, carve linoleum, cut down their block into separate shapes, practice mixing colour, use brayers to ink, and finally to print using an etching press.
With this method, students get to play with multiple colours on one block, using separate pieces that come together like a puzzle, all to create a bold and complex print after only one pass through the press! This 3-day workshop is great for beginners and for those with previous lino experience looking to unlock a new technique!
